Strategy & Operations Associate
Prosper Health is on a mission to make life happier and healthier for autistic and neurodivergent adults.
Autistic adults have been systematically overlooked by the healthcare system—despite autism diagnoses increasing more than 5x in the past 25 years. This has led to extremely poor outcomes: autistic adults are 11x more likely than the average person to experience suicidal ideation and face a life expectancy 30 years shorter than average.
Prosper offers virtual mental health services—covered by insurance and built specifically for autistic adults. We help thousands of people get diagnosed for the first time in their lives, pair them with neurodivergent-affirming therapists, and foster belonging through community. In just 2 years, we have grown to double digit millions of run-rate revenue, thousands of active clients, and 200+ clinicians. We have a lean, ambitious team, and recently raised a Series A to help us transform mental health for autistic and neurodivergent adults.
The Role
The Strategy & Operations Associate will be a key player in transforming our non-clinical operations, driving innovation across revenue cycle management, network management, and client experience. This isn't your typical role – you'll have extraordinary ownership and visibility from day one, with direct access to leadership and the chance to see your ideas implemented and scaled.
Here are a few examples of high-impact projects you might tackle in your first few months:
- Build our operational backbone: Develop and maintain systems to identify clinician coverage gaps and mitigate keyman risks – directly impacting patient care and business continuity
- Revolutionize our revenue cycle: Analyze billing data, design and implement new standard operating procedures that will transform how we manage claims
- Enhance the client journey: Identify critical confusion points, develop innovative solutions to create seamless experiences, and operationalize initiatives that drive satisfaction and retention
About You
- 2-5+ years of experience in consulting, startups, or a high growth technology companies
- Excited by the early stage (you will be one of the first 20 operational employees), which means working in a high degree of ambiguity with a strong ability to take ownership and operate independently
- Analytical, data-oriented, first-principled thinker who is able to communicate opinions clearly, and willing to be convinced otherwise through thoughtful discourse
- Gritty, scrappy, and resilient, with a strong bias for action
- Motivated to do good and be great
