WHO YOU ARE

You are a seasoned software engineer with at least 12 years of experience, known for your ability to deliver impactful solutions that meet complex customer needs. Your primary focus is on enhancing customer value through innovative technology solutions, leveraging your broad expertise in multiple disciplines to drive meaningful outcomes. You value collaboration and thrive in a flat organizational structure, working closely with existing leads and team members to harness collective knowledge and experience. With a low-ego approach, you understand that the best results come from listening to others and integrating diverse perspectives. You are recognized as a trusted partner who helps guide teams in identifying and implementing effective solutions that directly address pressing challenges for our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

In this senior-level individual contributor role, your work will center around collaboratively solving complex customer problems and delivering innovative solutions that add tangible value. You will engage with existing leads and key stakeholders to analyze and optimize our technology stack, focusing on high-impact areas that enhance the user experience of our on-prem Windows solutions. Your goal is to understand customer needs, identify challenges, and lead the charge in developing robust solutions while actively incorporating proven best practices from your extensive experience.

Collaborative Solution Delivery: Work alongside leads and cross-functional teams to analyze customer challenges and develop innovative software solutions that deliver real value, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.

  • Integrate Proven Best Practices: Leverage your proven experience to introduce best practices and methodologies that enhance the team's performance and the quality of solutions, consistently prioritizing the customer experience.
  • Mentor and Foster Growth: Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement by sharing your expertise with junior engineers and actively collaborating to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to identify potential issues before they impact customers, fostering an atmosphere where creative and effective solutions are jointly developed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating how proposed changes and improvements align with customer needs and overarching business goals.
  • Optimize Production Environments: Ensure that production systems are stable and performant, working with the team to deliver solutions that directly support customer transactions and enhance their overall experience.
  • Champion Automation and Improvement: Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks and develop deployment tools that streamline processes, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-impact customer solutions collaboratively.

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

We are seeking strong full-stack engineers and app developers with a minimum of 12 years of experience, showcasing deep proficiency in .NET 4.8 and familiarity with other frameworks and architectures.

  • You have built and maintained complex enterprise products in both cloud and on-prem environments, working on both front-end (Web and Windows) and back-end systems.
  • You are a subject matter expert on .NET, C#, Architecture, Deployment, Risk Management and overall DevOps best practices
  • You possess a keen attention to detail and a passion for developing impactful software solutions that directly address customer needs.
  • You have made key design decisions and effectively contributed to the success of your team while leading enhancements and initiatives.
  • You are comfortable engaging with customers to understand their challenges and advocate for solutions that align with their goals.
  • You can debug and maintain large code bases, and are able to make judgment calls over complex technical issues

This role has a base annual salary of $175,000-$195,000 plus a competitive equity and benefits package. (Salary to be determined by relevant experience, location, knowledge, and skills of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
