WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As Qualia’s Chief of Staff, you will report directly to the company’s Founder & CEO and play a critical role in the future growth of the company. You will serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic support in achieving Qualia’s vision and goals. In this highly visible role, you will get exposure to all aspects of the business and work closely with every department to drive growth, improve performance, and achieve key business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the CEO's schedule, including scheduling meetings, developing clear meeting agendas, planning travel, and ensuring timely execution of action items to maximize the CEO's time and productivity
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, proactively handling inquiries and identifying emerging issues, developing action plans, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to define and execute new operational strategies and special projects that drive growth, improve performance, and achieve key business objectives
  • Support high exposure initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring effective project management. Examples include corporate strategic planning, product launches, fundraising, board meetings, new investment opportunities, and more
  • Coordinate executive team and company-wide meetings and activities, while supporting broader employee engagement initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees across all levels and departments to increase productivity and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Perform ad hoc projects and investigations, using data analysis and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for improvement and drive decision-making

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience, ideally in an associate level role, preferably with experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, trading, or a start-up environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to operate independently, work with minimal supervision, and exercise sound judgment
  • Based in Austin, TX with the ability to work in the office a minimum of two days per week is required
