Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead our technical team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of deploying scalable AI systems and has a track record of innovation and excellence in a high-stakes environment, preferably with both hyperscaler and startup experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage our ML infrastructure to ensure scalability and robustness of AI solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in machine learning operations (MLOps) to automate model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and healthcare professionals to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models tailored to healthcare applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and team members, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying insights to our projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying machine learning models at scale.
- Proven experience with ML infrastructure and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) used for large-scale data processing and model deployment.
- Strong background in MLOps practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing of machine learning models.
- Prior technical leadership experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Desirable Skills:
- Expertise in generative AI models, particularly those applicable to healthcare scenarios.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in healthcare.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Previous employment at a FAANG company or similar, with substantial involvement in AI/ML projects.

Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is between $170,000 and $210,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
