Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

The Merchandising Analyst is a true builder at heart. This is an exciting and challenging entry level opportunity to learn about DTC Merchandising from the ground up and be trained on how to run the Quince model.
 
The ideal candidate is energized by product, market trends and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is an integral part of the team and will support the day-to-day functions of the Merchandising team. They will work cross-functionally throughout Quince to help rapidly build a winning business.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Supports merchants on execution of product identification, sourcing, development, and publishing process
  • Coordinates between Creative, Engineering, Marketing teams to help launch products on site. This includes creating items in our product catalog, writing purchase orders for new products, organizing samples for photoshoots, and maintaining product detail pages
  • Communicate with vendors regularly on sample tracking and delivery status for future and past due orders 
  • Manage product development data integrity within internal business systems across all stages of product development and sourcing process
  • Implement tools and streamline processes to help eliminate inefficient ways of working and improve overall team health & effectiveness

 

Key Requirements

  • Graduate from UC Berkeley or Stanford preferred, other Tier 1 schools will be considered
  • Data/analytics majors preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail math and retail reporting
  • Product obsessed, with an eye for good design and market trends
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with a focus on execution, problem solving, improving processes
  • Continuous learner and highly curious, always open to considering new perspectives, comfortable balancing multiple priorities and pivoting with last minute changes
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a high sense of urgency
  • Performance driven and performance motivated - gets results and likes being in a culture that values performance
  • Proficient with MS Office/ G Suite applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Location: San Francisco. This role will work 3 days per week in our SF office

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.

Pay Range

$65,000 - $70,000 USD
