YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Copywriter, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your leadership, ideation, writing prowess, and strategic expertise at a local and regional level for a key automotive client. You'll be an integral part of our creative team and play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and engaging content across various channels. You are expected to lead and support junior creative teams and spearhead collaborations with RAPP offices across Southeast Asia while delivering innovation creative solutions in new business pitches.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with senior art directors and creative teams to build and execute creative concepts for various projects, including advertising campaigns, digital content, print materials, and branding initiatives.
- Set the overall tone for copy and messaging, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines while meeting client objectives and project requirements.
- Supervise junior copywriters to ensure copywriting is of the highest quality in terms of concept, craft and accuracy (0% errors).
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute key themes and innovative ideas to drive overall creative output and deliver winning solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovation in creativity to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients and stakeholders.
- Supervision of audio recording sessions, film production and at times, photography production to facilitate the best results during pre-production, production and post-production.
- Be proficient with technical aspects of recording for radio and video, including voice talent direction and sound engineer supervision.
- Be familiar with technical aspects of film production, from editing, visual effects to colour grading.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, or a related field. Candidates with qualifications in non-related fields are welcome to apply provided they have proven work experience in advertising/branding/media agencies.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in advertising/branding/media agencies with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create compelling creative campaigns. Awards are a plus.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a flair for storytelling and building brand narratives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and passionately present work to key clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- A creative portfolio showcasing a range of work and integrated campaigns that demonstrate strong conceptual thinking and copywriting.
