In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

The Role

The Associate Director – HRBP at Razorpay will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s rewards and compensation strategy. Unlike a traditional HRBP role, this position is primarily focused on Compensation & Benefits and will be central to preparing the company for its IPO journey. The role requires strong expertise in designing and implementing reward systems, global policies, and governance mechanisms to support Razorpay’s long-term growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Compensation Strategy & Rewards Design: Lead restructuring of the organization’s reward framework to align with IPO readiness, including short-term and long-term incentive programs.
  • Governance & Compliance: Partner with leadership and set up the Nomination & Remuneration Committee (NRC), ensuring governance and regulatory compliance for compensation practices.
  • Global Systems & Policies: Build and refine compensation frameworks, global benefits policies, and scalable systems to support business expansion across mult

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 8-12  years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, or Total Rewards, ideally with exposure to fast-scaling tech/fintech organizations.
  • Strong expertise in designing ESOPs, long-term incentives, and compensation structures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management with CXOs, Boards, and NRC/Compensation Committees.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a global mindset.
