Enterprise Sales Director

Redapt is looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales Director to lead and expand our enterprise sales team. In this role, you will recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals, driving strategic growth and exceeding revenue targets.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in technology sales leadership, with strong strategic thinking and a passion for building lasting executive relationships. You will develop a comprehensive sales playbook to guide your team in selling technology solutions, securing new business, and expanding existing client partnerships.
This role requires a dynamic leader who can motivate and empower the team to consistently achieve and surpass goals while identifying new opportunities for growth across our diverse range of solutions and services.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of sales team members to achieve prospecting and sales goals
  • Manage, hire, train, develop, retain, and coach a diverse high performing sales team  
  • Provide support and mentorship by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources
  • Provide support to the team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Manage the performance and professional development of sales client directors
  • Continuously track, monitor, and report on sales performance and progress
  • Develop a plan for consistently delivering quota and for expanding in greenfield territories
  • Develop individual business plans for sales team members to ensure their selling success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Analyze sales activity and results to direct individual performance and to provide input to the EVP of Sales
  • Research and develop new strategies on reaching out to new account leads
  • Qualifying business opportunities and exhibit strong negotiating skills with team
  • Build strong rapport with new clients
  • Monitor customer requirements and determine concentration of sales efforts
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities

Skills you bring with you:

  • Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success in the development and management of sales teams
  • Experience managing large/strategic accounts, long sales cycles, and selling complex solutions
  • Experience in creating and executing long-term sales plans and guiding your team
  • Proven track history in sales with a ISV, OEM, Consulting firm, VAR or Integrator with successful record in the Enterprise Sector including extensive direct contact with enterprise customers at an executive level
  • Proven ability to develop a professional working relationship between clients, staff, management, and executives
  • Bring creativity and critical thinking to tackle challenges, from industry-wide issues to client-specific needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • You bring 8+ years of experience managing a high performing sales team, preferably in a mid-sized company with a VAR, OEM, ISV, or consulting background
  • You have 8+ years technical sales experience, consistently surpassing sales targets
  • Experience in cloud computing, Cyber Security, or VAR industry strongly preferred
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering sales team results and growing a market
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a sales team

 Travel required:

  • Travel typically 50% or more a month

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $170,000 to $220,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.  Redapt's salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.  Please note that the compensation details listed in the US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
