Senior Controller

The Senior Controller here at Redapt will help manage and improve financial processes, ensure compliance, and partner with our Executive team.  In addition to this person will work closely with accounting and oversee Redapts Budgeting, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring financial performance, identifying trends, and variances.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Developing and managing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitoring actual performance against budget and identifying variances.

Internal Controls:

  • Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control policies and procedures.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Contributing to the development of financial strategies and plans.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Leadership and Supervision:

  • Supervising and mentoring accounting staff.
  • Ensuring that accounting staff are trained and competent.
  • Providing guidance and support to the accounting team.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with external auditors.
  • Managing cash flow.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, taxes, and other financial obligations.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

Skills you bring with you:

  • Significant understanding of Microsoft Great Plains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Leadership and management skills

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 plus years of experience in accounting and financial management are required.

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $150,000 - $200,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.  Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.  Please note that the compensation details listed in the US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
