Product Marketing Manager

About Us

Rho is on a mission to make finance frictionless for business. Our team and technology power high-performing companies with an end-to-end finance platform that seamlessly enables teams to safely conduct and manage company cash and spending across commercial-grade banking, corporate cards, A/P and more.

About the Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Rho’s growth strategy. At its core, we are looking for a product marketing leader who can serve as the Voice of the Customer for all GTM activities, aligning the Rho banking platform’s product offerings and value propositions with the specific needs of our equally dynamic customer base.

Combining market insights with an audience-centric marketing approach, you’ll lead strategic GTM initiatives, product launches, and sales enablement, directly contributing to the company's growth trajectory. Leveraging a rich blend of innovative market research, competitive intelligence, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our messaging resonates, our positioning is sharp and differentiated, and our products continue to solve real-world problems for finance professionals.

Successful candidates will actively demonstrate the capacity to transition between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Your role is to understand deeply not just our product's capabilities but also the specific needs and workflows of our customer segments—VC-backed startups, SMBs, and mid-market companies – and how Rho can support them. We’re looking for someone who loves writing, talking to customers, working with cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of business development fueled by the Product Marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Audience & ecosystem research: Own in-depth audience research to understand evolving needs and workflows of key customer segments, competitors, and ecosystem partners to inform Rho product positioning, audience segmentation, channel selection, and campaign planning.
  • Customer advocacy: Serve as the Voice of the Customer for all GTM activities, including—but not limited to—marketing campaigns, product launches, and outbound motions.
  • Messaging and positioning: Create compelling and differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions, tailored to Rho customer and partner audiences.
  • Content creation: Partner with our Content and Demand Gen team to generate Rho product awareness, demand, and activation through content creation, including thought leadership, website materials, engaging product demos, and high-value gated assets.
  • Product marketing: Own and execute all Rho product launches, working with cross-functional teams to deliver strong awareness and demand generation campaigns for new capabilities added to the Rho banking platform.*
  • Product team liaison: Serve as a liaison between the Product and Marketing organizations, ensuring customer insights are incorporated in product roadmaps and development, and launches are effectively planned and executed.
  • Sales enablement: Collaborate with Sales leadership to manage the creation of sales enablement, playbooks, sales training, and other assets to support Rho's outbound sales and customer success efforts.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience leading product marketing in SaaS environments targeting 1 or more of our target customer audiences outlined above.
  • Based in New York City, the ideal candidate is a data-driven, ambitious, results-oriented individual who is eager to support new marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • Excellent written communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Highly motivated and comfortable operating under ambiguity with high agency
  • Robust analytical skills with a track record of data-driven decision-making
  • The ability to transform sharp qualitative and quantitative research into actionable, differentiated positioning, messaging, and creative campaigns.
  • B2B sales background with a track record of selling to SMBs/Middle-Market is a plus.
  • Eagerness to have an impact. We love people with a chip on their shoulder!
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $152,000 - $180,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.

Diversity is a core value at Rho. We’re passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable environment for all those involved with our mission, including employees, contractors, candidates, customers and vendors. We believe every member of the Rho community enriches our ability to provide a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the market, identify problems, and drive solutions that align with our mission. We welcome all qualified applications and support each of our Rho’ers with ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
