Demand Planning Manager

rhode is seeking a strategic Demand Planning Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This manager will be tasked with creating a SKU forecast for our Operations team through statistical analysis, working cross functionally with the Marketing, Product Development, and Finance teams.
Overview & Responsibilities
- The Demand Planning Manager will create SKU and branch plan level forecasts to achieve financial objectives.
- Facilitate consensus meetings with our Marketing and Finance teams to ensure forecasting objectives are achieved.
- Assess risks and opportunities by analyzing historical sales trends and new product launch performance.
- Quantify new product launch forecasts using historical sales, planned marketing support, and key account merchandising plans.
- Participate in cross functional project teams to develop best in class forecasting practices.
To be successful:
- Experience with Operations Planning processes/procedures.
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning, using an ERP system for a global consumer goods brand.
- Experience in operating through Integrated Business Planning and S&OP.
- Strong statistical skills, data visualization, and storytelling skills with experience analyzing, and reviewing trends and data to forecast a holistic story.
- Get it done attitude, solutions-oriented problem solver.
- Takes radical accountability and ownership over their duties and responsibilities.
- Intellectually curious, with a genuine desire and drive to improve the business.
- Commutable 3 days a week to Beverly Hills with the ability to come in more often as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
- BS/BA required.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning for a beauty or skincare brand
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sumif, CSV files)
- Cross functional collaboration experience
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This role is based out of our headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.
