Technical Sourcer
Milpitas
We’re looking for our first Technical Sourcer to help us grow our team with the best talent in robotics, AI, and engineering. You’ll take full ownership of sourcing—finding, connecting with, and inspiring people who want to build the future of embodied AI with us. You’ll work closely with founders and technical leads, driving the top of our recruiting funnel and helping us stay ahead in a competitive market.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and engage top candidates in robotics, AI, and engineering
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, GitHub, academic lists, and leading conference networks (ICRA, RSS, CoRL, CVPR, etc.)
- Map key labs, companies, and talent communities; deliver actionable market insights to the team
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and calibrate candidate profiles
- Own and manage our ATS recruiting platform—track candidates, organize pipelines, and maintain accurate records
- Drive interview progress by coordinating closely with hiring managers to improve communication, scheduling, and overall candidate experience
- Regularly track and report on sourcing activities, pipeline health, and key results
What You Bring
- 3+ years of technical sourcing experience (agency or in-house), ideally with hard-to-fill roles
- Creative, persistent, and skilled in outreach on multiple platforms
- Able to quickly understand new technical domains
- Strong communicator—concise, direct, and trusted by engineers
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Passion for building diverse, high-performing teams
Bonus Points
- Experience sourcing in robotics, AI research, or hardware/software engineering
- Prior work in startups or on small teams
- Network in academic or open-source AI/robotics communities
This is a 3–6 month contract role (option to extend), onsite in Milpitas HQ three days a week. We can’t provide visa support.
