ABOUT THE ROLE

The Learner Enrollment and activation Specialist will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for our programs, implementing strategies to engage and onboard new learners, and ensuring a smooth and successful transition into the learning community.

Learner Enrollment & Activation Specialist’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide recruitment efforts for ALX at community events, college and career fairs, business and industry visits and other recruitment-related activities
  • Developing an enrollment strategy to increase the conversions rate between the stages of our funnel 
  • Oversee all enrollment activities and activations, including outreach to potential learners and organizing events, emails, and other communication channels ensuring these activities are successfully carried out.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as the marketing team to develop strategies to attract top talent to our programs
  • Drive the recruitment process in the city to ensure we hit the enrolment targets
  • Serve as a liaison to develop partnerships at various levels

Your Role KPIs will include:

  • Number of new enrollments per month/quarter.
  • Percentage of enrollment targets met.
  • Conversion rate between different stages of the enrollment funnel.
  • Improvement in conversion rates over time.
  • A number of innovative initiatives were introduced to enhance the enrollment process.
  • A number of potential learners contacted through various channels (emails, phone calls, events).
  • A number of partnerships developed with businesses, colleges, and other organizations.
  • The success rate of partnerships in driving enrollments.
  • Number of events and activities organized.
  • Attendance and engagement rates at these events

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a recruiter or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience successfully running a recruitment program
  • A bachelor’s degree in any field 
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of other local languages a plus
  • Relationship-driven: highly skilled communicator with a strong customer service focus and desire to do what’s best for our customers at all times  
  • Attention to detail: to ensure you deliver the best customer experience and promptly follow up on all the information they need
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: you can effectively articulate and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Interpersonal skills: you have a collaborative mindset and can work well with others
  • Humility and openness to feedback: you are always looking to learn and have an insatiable curiosity and hunger to grow
  • Innovativeness and creativity: you have a tendency to use your imagination to create or introduce something new or different in any situation
