Position Overview:
Saylor is looking for an Account Director to manage and grow client relationships for our consumer brand clients. Reporting to the Group Account Director, this role will serve as the primary client contact for assigned accounts, ensuring successful execution of campaigns and initiatives while driving client satisfaction and account growth.

The Account Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing campaign execution, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work. The Account Director plays a pivotal role in maintaining strong client relationships, leading projects, and identifying opportunities for organic account growth.

The ideal candidate is an experienced account leader with a strong background in digital and social marketing who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They should have experience working with consumer brands, particularly in the travel and/or luxury space; be adept at managing complex projects; have a deep understanding of creative and strategic processes.

Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $115,000-$150,000, depending on experience. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client’s office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead account planning and execution, ensuring projects align with client objectives and are delivered on time and within scope/budget.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing priorities, proactively identifying ways to add value.
  • Work closely with the Group Account Director to develop and implement account strategies that drive client success and business growth.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within assigned accounts, collaborating with senior leadership on proposals and upsell strategies.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns  across digital, social, influencer, production and paid media, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Manage SOWs, budgets, and project timelines, keeping projects on track while balancing client needs and agency resources.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring insights are shared with clients to optimize future initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping them develop client management skills.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years in account management or supervision in a marketing or creative agency.
  • Proven track record of growing existing business, identifying strategic opportunities, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Expertise in managing complex, multi-faceted projects across digital marketing, creative production, and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including organic, paid, and influencer marketing, is strongly preferred.
  • Travel and/or luxury experience is a plus.
