Go-to-Client Account Director
Role Summary
The Go-to-Client Support - Account Director is a pivotal role within WPP Scangroup, supporting the Go-to-Client Regional Lead in managing key client accounts and ensuring seamless execution of deliverables. This position combines project management, client servicing, and operational oversight, requiring exceptional organizational skills and a client-first mindset. As the bridge between the GTC Regional Lead, internal teams, and clients, you will ensure that all client needs are addressed efficiently and effectively. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in client management and a passion for delivering high-quality work while fostering long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Client Servicing Support
- Assist the GTC Lead in managing day-to-day client interactions and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, objectives, and industry trends to provide timely support.
- Prepare and organize client meetings, including developing agendas, presentations, and follow-up reports.
Project Coordination
- Oversee the execution of campaigns and projects across multiple WPP agencies, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Monitor project progress and flag potential issues to the respective Country Leads/Account Directors for resolution.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between creative, media, digital, and other internal teams.
Operational Excellence
- Track and manage account deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to client expectations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, project milestones, and key decisions.
- Support in preparing performance reports and campaign analytics for client reviews.
Financial Oversight
- Assist in monitoring account budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing cost estimates for approval.
- Ensure all client billing and invoicing is accurate and processed on time.
Relationship Building
- Foster positive relationships with clients, acting as a point of contact in the absence of the GTC Lead.
- Build trust and credibility by demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to client needs.
Team Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between the GTC Lead and internal teams, ensuring clarity in communication and priorities.
- Provide support in coordinating team efforts, including scheduling meetings and sharing updates.
Role Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in account management, client servicing, or project management within the advertising, marketing, or communications industries.
- Familiarity with integrated marketing communications, including creative, media, digital, and PR.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
