Role Summary

As a Bilingual Copywriter at Ogilvy, you will craft compelling and original copy that connects with target audiences. From slogans and scripts to full campaigns, you’ll collaborate with Art Directors and account teams to deliver impactful advertising for major clients. Your work will reflect creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Development: Interpret client briefs to generate fresh, original ideas and write clear, persuasive copy across various formats (e.g., digital, print, scripts). Collaborate with Art Directors to align copy with visuals, present concepts to colleagues and clients, revise work based on feedback, and oversee production stages.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and styles while understanding client brands, products, competitors, and target audiences to inform creative decisions.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Collaboration & Relationships: Build strong relationships with internal teams (Account Management, Planning, Traffic) and contribute to agency profitability by adhering to financial processes and budgets.


Role Requirements

  • Language & Communication: Fluency in English and French, with excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Education & Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in advertising, design, or related fields, along with a proven portfolio of creative copywriting work.
  • Creative Expertise: Highly creative, imaginative, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of advertising principles and the ability to adapt language styles for different audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage workloads under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration: A team player who values feedback and diverse perspectives.
  • Bonus: Previous recognition through creative awards is an advantage.
