Our Chess Teacher’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Teaching Chess to K-4th grade students.
- Provide help with arrival and dismissal of students
- Supervise the transition of all students to their daily activities
- Help with Attendance and constant supervision of all grade level students
- Organization, dispersing and collection of supplies
- Helping with the distribution and cleaning up of snack and daily used spaces
- Supervision of students during after care programs
- Working alongside and reporting to both the after school manager and coordinator daily
- Supervising appropriate usage of technology including but not limited to conduct, treatment of supplies and locking up of equipment
- Ability to work with other adults in a lead or assistant teacher role

- Able to work Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 5:30 PM

- Help build, expand and improve programming
- Participate in team building and create a sense of community with your colleagues
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred

This is a part time role with an hourly rate of $40 an hour. The hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 pm to 5:30 PM.
