Head of Product - Stumble Guys

Scopely is looking for a Head of Product to help drive the vision of one of our leading game franchises, Stumble Guys!
 
Working closely with our SVP of Product in Barcelona, you will help to drive the entire roadmap lifecycle from vision and strategy through the initial design phases and into live-game optimisation. Leading an all-star team of product managers in the creation of features with cross-functional teams, culminating in genre-defining outcomes.
 
Combining product thinking, a deep understanding of our players, analytically driven, creative vision, and executional excellence, this will be an opportunity to put your stamp on the future of social and mobile gaming!

What you will do:
  • Help define the long term vision of the game and help set the strategy to reach that vision.
  • Responsible for crafting a feature roadmap that will drive business results in alignment with the game’s vision.
  • Ensure designs meet the business goals, but also meet player’s needs, and are aligned with the best-in-class market trends.
  • Lead, guide and mentor a team of experienced PMs that are coordinating the entire game’s feature set. Support the team on the most innovative and meaningful product challenges.
  • Work with the leadership team to hit daring targets to optimize lifetime value of the player base.
  • Lead collaboration with different interfaces within and outside the department.
  • Drive constant improvement of the Product Management craft, team health, processes, and methodologies.
  • Help identify inefficiencies and provide long term solutions in our feature development and live operation processes & tooling to further drive operational excellence.
What you will need:
  • Proven and extensive experience leading Product teams and/or Game Designers in social or mobile F2P games, ideally running a live game with strong Social / PvP / Multiplayer elements.
  • Track record of driving product roadmap that shapes player behaviors & drives product critical metrics
  • Ability to effectively balance the needs of technology, business, and player experience.
  • Proficiency in behavioral economics, demonstrating a detailed understanding of both product and player lifecycles
  • Thrives in games as a live service environment, making changes with an engaged community
  • Proactive communicator. Outstanding written, oral, and presentation abilities. Ability to drive aligned vision
  • Strategic Vision: the ability to envision an industry-leading future for the game, articulate how it looks, and deploy tactics to bring it to life.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful
  • Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team in a global setting
  • Optimize decision and design using qualitative, quantitative, academic research, industry standard methodologies, and operator intuition
  • Project Management: able to deploy resources against the highest impact initiatives, understand tradeoffs, anticipate & mitigate risks from afar, handle people’s expectations & maintain a high quality of results
  • Leadership: Engage and inspire team members to deliver the best-quality product possible
