System Administrator

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area
 
Position Description

Reporting to the VP of IT, The System Administrator will work within Sensei’s Okta/Microsoft 365 environment to enhance and expand current usage for a rapidly growing and forward-thinking wellness hospitality brand. The System Administrator will be on the forefront of architecting and driving major technological transformations within Sensei’s IT organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Administer, maintain and architect expansion of Sensei’s MS 365 environment
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions for all MS365 apps, Okta, 3rd party IT systems/software's, and corporate end user laptops
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and asset tracking
  • Partner with multiple departments and stakeholders to responsibly lead change management
  • Mentor and assist co-workers and vendors for continuity of policies and procedures instituted by our team
  • Monitor, Manage and Resolve MS 365 Alerts
  • Administer Privilege Identity Management in MS 365 & Okta
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation and orchestration
  • Evaluate, respond to, and resolve corporate employee trouble tickets
  • Experience in PowerShell Scripting
  • Role will serve as Sensei’s SharePoint Administrator, including developing & maintaining SharePoint sites; responding to user issues; encouraging user adoption; and ensuring compliance with best practices for SharePoint
  • Serve as Sensei’s administrator for Microsoft Teams, which will include channel creation, structure and maintenance
  • Administer Sensei’s Helpdesk ticketing system (Jira)
  • Support corporate staff remotely and in office 1-2 days a week 
  • Support property IT staff on all M365 issues
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Liaise with all IT staff for strategies and initiatives

  • Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
  • Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Teamwork - Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
  • Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years of M365 Administration and Tier 1 and 2 IT support experience
  • Must be familiar with Distribution List, Dynamic Distribution List, Security Groups, Microsoft Teams Groups, Users, and Attributes
  • Sensei values diverse educational and training backgrounds in consideration of the role
  • Experience in PowerShell Scripting
  • 3-5 years of SharePoint administration experience
  • Experience in administration Okta, Kanji and MS 365
  • 3- 5 years of experience working with Azure AD, MS365 office app suite, Intune, Okta, and Kanji
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Exchange Spam filter, Anti-Phishing policies and Defender

Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to support macOS and Windows operating systems

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • MS365 certifications are required
