ABOUT THE ROLE

The Inventory Analyst plays a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate inventory operations, with a focus on two primary areas: gift set build coordination and inventory management. This role is responsible for planning and supporting the execution of gift set builds — including hands-on involvement — and ensuring team adherence to SOPs and process improvements. Additionally, the Inventory Analyst supports physical inventory execution, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both strategic planning and operational execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in planning and execution of regular cycle counts to monitor and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Lead the execution of annual physical inventory, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and timely completion
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain and analyze inventory reports to monitor key metrics and trends
  • Support training of team members on accurate inventory management practices and proper system transaction execution
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed correctly to maintain system integrity

  • Gift set builds:
    • Plan and schedule gift set builds in partnership with planning and production teams
    • Prepare and communicate detailed build instructions; monitor component availability and escalate risks proactively
    • Provide hands-on support during builds and ensure timely, accurate execution
    • Ensure team is trained on gift set build SOPs and adheres to established procedures
    • Identify and escalate build issues; work with appropriate teams to root cause and resolve them
    • Identify inefficiencies in build plans and recommend improvements to increase speed while maintaining accuracy
    • Support post-build reviews and drive implementation of process enhancement

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management or Purchasing
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (ERP/MRP)
  • Ability to navigate external and internal relationships with key stakeholders
