Role Description:

In this position you will develop ShipBob’s retail compliance program. This new role will work cross functionally with several internal ShipBob departments to design and execute new processes. You will leverage, establish, and maintain relationships with all major retailers and play a key role in ensuring ShipBob’s success in navigating the complex B2B supply chain ecosystem. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Innovation. 

What you’ll do:

  • Review compliance guides for retailers, create summarized documentation within our WMS to ensure fulfillment teams comply with requirements. 
  • Ensure B2B retailer requirements’ matrix and associates shared documents are maintained and updated as needed and when new retailers or merchants are on boarded or existing ones have changes. 
  • Monitor retailer compliance guides and update ShipBob WMS and training as requirements change. 
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and scope WMS features to enhance retailer compliance. 
  • Work with sales operations to identify high priority retailers we need to support. 
  • Own retailer chargebacks investigations and ensure corrective actions are put in place to prevent chargebacks. 
  • Analyze data and present results regarding chargebacks. Assist operations with corrective action plants to mitigate recurrence. 
  • Use chargeback data to identify operational gaps within our facilities and improve our B2B training and processes. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders on functional teams to develop a set of KPIs to manage compliance performance. 
  • Create, coordinate and update compliance calendar to include notifications of updates/training/platform changes. 
  • Assist training team in documenting relevant B2B SOPs and ensuring timely updates are made as needed. 
  • Attend retailer trade events as necessary to stay abreast of key trends. 
  • Perform periodic billing audits to ensure procedures are followed and the company is not incurring unnecessary cost by performing out of scope tasks. 
  • Mentor and train future team members on creating compliance guides and disputing chargebacks. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as necessary. 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B Compliance. 
  • Experience working with many different 3PLs is a plus. 
  • Past experience successfully disputing retailer chargeback claims and delivering operational efficiency. 
  • In-depth knowledge of current best practices in fulfillment and vendor compliance. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Advanced user of Excel. 
  • A hands-on, creative problem solver who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done and focus on results. 
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $86,670 - 144,450. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
