Our Opportunity

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the VP of Product for AppSec will play a pivotal role in building Snyk’s offering and expanding its product capabilities. This role focuses on developing Snyk’s application security offering, driving product strategy, design, and alignment between our vision, technology, and market needs. You will lead a group of exceptional product managers, ensuring cohesive user experiences and building new revenue streams.

You’ll Spend Your On:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Partner closely with the SVP of Product to define and execute a long-term product vision that positions us as a leading platform in our industry.
  • Work closely with the VPs of Product & Engineering across the divisions focusing on various workflow and services delivery that become part of the Snyk Platform
  • Translate that vision into actionable strategies and roadmaps for the enabling teams (Product Solutions, Product/Tech Strategy, and User Experience Design).
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the product organization.
  • Develop and execute pricing transformation strategy & platform consumption economics strategies to optimize financial and operational aspects of platform usage.

Platform company transformation:

  • Champion the adoption of end to end Product Life Cycle adoption across Product and R&D.
  • Ensuring that our teams are structured for optimal flow, collaboration, and value delivery.
  • Coach and mentor product leaders on focus required for different types of orgs in the platform transition.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different types of teams, ensuring that dependencies are managed effectively and bottlenecks are resolved promptly.

Product Solutions Excellence:

  • Lead the Product Solutions (Outbound PM) team to develop compelling product offerings that meet the needs of our target markets and deliver a competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, customer success) to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and drive adoption of our products.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch to post-launch analysis, ensuring that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.

What You'll need: 

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful product launches and scaling products to achieve significant market impact.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate a high-level vision into concrete plans and actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
  • Passion for building great products that solve real customer problems.
