Joining Snyk means embracing our core values: One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment where fostering collaboration, leading with empathy, driving business impact, and inspiring trust are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager on the Growth & Outbound team, you'll be a pivotal leader within our Product organization. You'll take ownership of continuing to define and evolve how our product's value translates into growth and commercial success in the market. This means you'll be instrumental in building compelling business cases based on market opportunities, evaluating how our product models enable expansion within our current customer base, and identifying avenues to meet the needs of new market segments through differentiated offerings.

This isn't just another product role—it's a chance to leave a lasting mark on the world of developer security. You'll be the voice of the market within our product team, deeply understanding customer needs and translating them into strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and revenue. You'll move beyond raw data to uncover the nuanced "why" behind customer behavior and market shifts, using these insights to shape our commercial approach, including our consumption models and pricing. You'll work closely with engineering, sales, and customers on both the technical and commercial aspects of the product, ensuring our innovations resonate and drive sustainable growth.

You'll Spend Your Time:

  • Owning the in-product experience associated with Snyk’s consumption-based model, ensuring customers have the tools to manage and govern platform usage and maximize value realization.
  • Becoming the expert on our target market, customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. You'll conduct in-depth research and develop fact-based intelligence to identify growth opportunities and refine our market approach.
  • Defining and evangelizing compelling value propositions and their underlying commercial rationale to strategic prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with peers across the R&D team to facilitate market research, analysis, and decision-making related to the commercial aspects of new and existing capabilities, including pricing structures that are simple, value-aligned, and scalable.
  • Collecting and leveraging customer feedback, user research, and comprehensive market data to inform product decisions, identify new growth avenues, and uncover commercial opportunities.
  • Leading strategic business-level initiatives related to growth and commercialization, engaging team members across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.
  • Driving decision-making across the product group and with various strategic stakeholders regarding growth strategies and commercialization.
  • Advising sales teams on market trends and facilitating effective positioning of the Snyk value proposition to optimize deal velocity and accelerate growth.
  • Acting as a critical feedback loop between the market and the product development team, ensuring our commercial strategy aligns with the B2B sales cycle and buying process.

What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience with a demonstrable track record in outbound, growth, or market-facing product roles, including experience in shaping commercial strategy or pricing.
  • Deep knowledge of product management methodologies and processes.
  • Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and various commercial models (e.g., subscription, usage-based, tiered).
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex value concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort developing the technical depth to understand customer use cases, the ecosystem in which our platform integrates, and the value propositions we offer, acting as a bridge between product development and market adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional decision-making processes, gather relevant information, and build consensus around key decisions and operational plans.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and buying process, ensuring our commercial structure is optimized for deal velocity and growth.
  • A proven ability to positively impact multiple areas outside of your immediate scope, particularly in influencing revenue and market share.

We'd Be Lucky If You:

  • Have a background in SaaS / B2B Tech, especially within developer tools or cybersecurity.
  • Have experience with product-led growth (PLG) principles and their application in an enterprise context.
  • Possess a strong understanding of how product usage and features impact commercial expansion.
