Our Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished, strategic, and highly motivated Senior Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic SDR team! The SDR team at Snyk is critical for generating new business opportunities through advanced prospecting and meticulous lead qualification. Our team's mission is to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders while actively generating net new business today.

This senior role is ideal for an individual with a proven track record in sales development who is ready to take on greater responsibility and contribute to our expansion in the APAC region, specifically Australia and Japan. While previous sales experience is not explicitly required at Snyk for SDRs, a background demonstrating exceptional communication, resilience, and a drive to exceed targets is highly valued for this senior position. Through our comprehensive onboarding and continuous enablement programs, you will further deepen your understanding of the cybersecurity industry, our diverse customer base, and advanced sales methodologies, paving the way for potential growth into SDR management, Account Executive roles, customer development/acquisition, marketing leadership, and beyond.

You'll Spend Your Time:

  • Strategically conducting high-volume prospecting activities, including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and advanced LinkedIn outreach.
  • Mastering and leveraging sales tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo to design and execute sophisticated account outreach strategies and customized sequences.
  • Developing and articulating a compelling value proposition for Snyk’s comprehensive product suite to diverse prospects across various industries and market segments.
  • Collaborating closely with Account Executives to strategically schedule and facilitate introductory meetings with high-potential accounts.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior SDRs, sharing best practices and contributing to team-wide knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Identifying emerging market trends and customer needs within Australia and Japan to inform sales strategies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Fluent proficiency in Japanese, in addition to fluent English, is essential for this role, enabling seamless communication with our Japanese-speaking clientele.
  • A demonstrated history of exceeding sales development goals, with a resilient, ambitious, and highly self-motivated personality.
  • A deep interest in advancing your career in sales within the cybersecurity industry, ideally with prior experience or significant exposure to the field.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong, meaningful professional relationships, priding yourself on being an outstanding communicator across cultures.
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment in working within a diverse, high-performing international team.
  • A genuine passion for technology and security, coupled with an eagerness to contribute to a high-growth startup environment.
