Global Account Director

United States (Remote)

SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is currently looking for an experienced Global Account Director to drive the leading vertical here at SOCi, centered around Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives within the financial sector. Leveraging your expertise in value-based selling methodologies, you will engage with key stakeholders to understand their unique challenges and objectives, and position our martech solutions as transformative assets that drive tangible business outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading organizations, shape their marketing strategies, and contribute to their success in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Global Account Director role will sell to global brand enterprise accounts, usually over $1M in ARR. 

SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $150,000 - $180,000 USD base plus bonuses/commission. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting financial institutions, aligning our solutions with their specific marketing needs and business objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, marketing leaders, and other key decision-makers within target accounts to become a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Value Proposition Development: Collaborate with internal teams to customize value propositions and solution offerings tailored to the unique requirements of financial services clients, emphasizing ROI and business impact.
  • Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to identify pain points, articulate the value of our solutions, and guide clients through the decision-making process, effectively demonstrating how our platform addresses their challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from prospecting and qualification to close, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior level sales engineering, product management, marketing, and customer success teams to drive successful implementations, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape developments within the financial services sector, leveraging this knowledge to inform sales strategies and differentiate our offerings.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely 
  • Must Have:  
    • Requires extensive experience in SaaS and Enterprise selling with at least 12 years of related experience
      • At least 7 years of experience selling Financial Services
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, with a focus on enterprise-level accounts within the financial services industry.
    • Strong understanding of value-based selling methodologies and experience translating product features into quantifiable business benefits.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships, navigate complex sales cycles, and negotiate effectively.
    • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools.
    • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
  • Desired Skills (but not required):  
    • Knowledge of martech, digital marketing, or financial services industry trends
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
