What You’ll Do

We're on the hunt for a consumer-obsessed integrated marketing leader who knows how to build a brand in today's cluttered landscape. You're not just a strategist; you're a brand evangelist, a storyteller, a disruptor, and a doer. You understand the importance of a brand showing up consistently across every single touchpoint, not just the big flashy ones. You are fluent in leading cross functional teams, gleaning input and insights from multiple departments to create breakthrough 360 go to market frameworks that deepen brand fandom, create widespread word of mouth to maximize buzz and global relevancy.

This role reports to the Executive Director, Global Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement 

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Lead the development of global go-to-market strategy as well as consumer engagement frameworks that drive differentiation, cultural conversation & authentically connect the brand to global target audiences.
  • Collaborate with consumer marketing team on creative & agency briefing for consumer engagement tactics, including launch campaigns & activations, media, social, and influencer. 
  • Partner closely with the Global Product Marketing team to ensure that the toolkit strategies are aligned with overarching categories and brand objectives. This involves regular meetings, data sharing, and strategy sessions to create a cohesive brand message. 
  • Lead the internal creative team through the entire marketing process, from the initial briefing to the final execution and subsequent optimization. This involves bringing teams together as needed for working meetings, providing clear and constructive feedback to ensure the creative output is aligned with brand strategies and objectives.  
  • Act as the liaison between the global marketing team and regional teams to ensure that the toolkits are localized effectively and that deliverables reflect market needs. This will involve constant collaboration, understanding local nuances and being a curious, globally minded partner.  
  • Work hand in hand with your peer integrated marketing leaders such as those in social, influencer, PR, media and retail marketing. This is to ensure that all marketing activities are aligned and integrated, offering a seamless consumer experience. 
  • Partner with Executive Director of Global Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement team to build innovative “big bet” campaign, launch, and always-on activation frameworks that authentically connect the brand to our target audiences and shape our brand calendar.  
  • Work alongside the Global Executive Director of Media as well as our global media AOR on sharp, breakthrough strategies rooted in behavior-first approaches. You will partner with agency leads and channel platforms directly on campaign briefings, channel creative insights & activation strategies, ensuring that global initiatives can be adapted and executed by regional and local teams.  
  • Work closely with Creative, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent consumer journey through the marketing funnel. 
  • Partner with Category Manager and Content team to effectively brief Creative on assets needed to support evergreen and core marketing. 
  • Work with Brand Experience & PR team to develop strategic external partnerships and execute high-impact marketing programs to drive global growth, awareness, and retention. 
  • With Senior Manager, Promotions, manage strategy and execution of promotional support for launch programs, including integration with influencer initiatives, brand partnerships, and merch bundles. 
  • Provide updates on global competitive activity, trends, and industry best practice in monthly content planning meetings, 360 and creative brainstorm. 
  • Support the management of the Global Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement budget. 

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in brand, consumer or integrated marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.  
  • Strong experience in developing and executing GTM strategies, preferably in the beauty, lifestyle or CPG industries. 
  • A deep understanding of how to translate brand and product narratives through a highly compelling consumer-first lens at each phase of the funnel. 
  • You understand not only how to develop a go to market plan, but are intimately familiar with building brand strategies, full funnel omni channel execution, social, influencer, events & activations, partnerships, PR & VIP, trade marketing and the creative development process. 
  • You’re a natural leader that inspires peers, direct reports and cross-functional teams - you're someone people want to work with.
  • Culture excites you and you’re curious and in the know about what is happening in the world around you.  
  • You strive to be innovative and push creative boundaries, not just in campaign ideation but also in how you approach execution. 
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, you’re a team player through and through.  
  • Immaculate attention to detail and high standards of brand consistency.  
  • Proficient in marketing analytics tools. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Salary Range

$160,000 - $200,000 USD
