AI enablement Engineer

Speciality Accent : Agentic Systems Engineer

 

About the Role

As an Agentic Systems Engineer on our GenAI Enablement team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain autonomous AI agents and workflows that drive productivity helpers, self-service tools, and intelligent orchestration across our game-development, operations, and end-user platforms. You’ll partner closely with AI Architects, ML Engineers, MLOps, and product teams to translate high-level use cases into reliable, secure, and scalable agentic solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Architecture & Design
     

    • Define and prototype multi-step agent workflows (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, tool chaining, decision logic).
       

    • Select or extend appropriate agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom orchestration layers).
       

  • Integration & Orchestration
     

    • Build connectors and adapters for internal services (APIs, data stores, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems).
       

    • Implement workflow orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
       

  • Performance & Reliability
     

    • Optimize agent throughput and latency, including caching strategies, parallelism, and load balancing.
       

    • Instrument agents for observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and set up alerting for failure modes.
       

  • Collaboration & Enablement
     

    • Co-author reference implementations, code samples, and “agent playbooks” for internal developer consumption.
       

    • Conduct internal workshops and office hours to familiarize partner teams with agent patterns and standard methodologies.
  • Security & Guardrails
     

    • Develop safety filters, rate-limits, and policy enforcement layers to prevent misuse or unsafe behaviors.
       

    • Collaborate with Ethics & QA teams to integrate bias detection and fallback strategies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
     

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ year specifically building AI-driven or workflow-orchestration systems.
     

  • Hands-on expertise with agent frameworks (e.g.  LangGraph, Autogen, AG2, or other major frameworks) and building custom implementations

  • Strong in Python skills and familiarity with web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) for building service APIs.
     

  • Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, task queues, and message brokers (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
     

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Prior work with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Claude) and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
     

  • Experience with orchestration platforms (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
     

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
     

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
     

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of creating technical documentation or developer tutorials.
     

Nice to Haves

  • Prompting & Content:
     

    • Expertise in prompt patterns, UX writing, and version control for prompt assets
       

  • Quality & Ethics:
     

    • Test automation frameworks tailored to LLM outputs
       

    • Bias & fairness assessment tools and methodologies
       

    • LLM-specific evaluation metrics (BLEU, METEOR) and human-in-loop review processes

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$198,200 - $297,400 USD
