As a Producer, you will support a new team as it works from preproduction through ship and into live support. Production is a soft-power role that leads through relationship-building, trust, and influence. Producers should leave no doubt about the plan of record, root out misalignment among team members (even those who think they are aligned), and ensure that their teams' plans are broadly understood and aligned with overall project direction. Producers work hand-in-hand with their Product Owner partners, staying in lockstep on major initiatives, and being transparent with each other about risks and challenges.

In collaboration with the Production Lead, you will ensure we meet and exceed our production standards and best practices for your areas of ownership, proactively identifying potential problems and addressing them before they occur. You will collaborate with team leads to establish production plans that will ensure we meet our quality goals on time and on budget. You will also help the team stay aligned with overall project goals and priorities as we solidify our plans for project direction. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, cross-discipline team united around our mission to create a positive impact in people's lives as we bring a new world to life.

Responsibilities

  • Create and advocate for clear and realistic production plans
  • Ensure teams have clear work systems, represented with up-to-date backlogs, that accurately track and deliver on production efforts
  • Track and manage progress of all work (planned, unplanned, emergent) against overall project schedules and budgets with predictable and measurable capacity of work through
  • Understand overall project goals and end-to-end feature delivery tracking to inform planning and decisions in your areas of ownership
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings and decisions, ensuring action items are followed up on
  • Identify areas of risk and uncertainty and help teams reach creative/technical consensus
  • Communicate effectively, leaving no doubt about the plan of record – ensure stakeholders are consulted and informed on team progress, brought into discussions as needed for project success
  • Facilitate collaboration with other disciplines and teams, including anticipating and taking steps to avoid cross-team conflicts
  • Help build a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Work with limited supervision and using independent judgment outside of established production practices when necessary
  • Ensure studio compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Strive to improve production practices at teamLFG

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in internal games production, including experience producing creative teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, outstanding analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, and empathy for creative teams
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, including effectively leading a team in spite of that ambiguity
  • Strong critical thinking skills, results oriented, focused and composed under pressure
  • Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar, etc)

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$68 - $103 USD
