Lead Producer (EP) 

 

Dark Outlaw Games, a Sony PlayStation Studio, is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative family in crafting our next high-profile AAA console title. 

  
We are seeking an experienced Lead Producer based on location in our LA studio, who will​ ​ be relied upon to collaborate with studio leadership, creative leads, and external partners to maintain and execute project planning for the teams. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project management, communication skills, and a passion for making games.  Help us create our next AAA title that will stand apart from the rest! 

 

We are a newly established AAA studio based in Los Angeles, driven by a team of seasoned industry leaders and experienced game developers. Our mission is to create the next groundbreaking AAA original IP while reimagining the development process with a lean and highly efficient approach. We’re seeking talented individuals who share our vision and are eager to join us on this journey. 

  

Responsibilities:  

 

The Lead Producer is leading the production team responsible for driving the production process to launch and plays a critical role in delivering a polished, high-caliber game. You oversee initiative timelines, budgets and resources, and ensure alignment between the creative vision and technical execution. You collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, facilitate communication, resolve roadblocks, and maintain a productive workflow. 

  

  • Lead and manage the production effort on multiple initiatives to ensure quality and timeliness of the delivery. 

 

  

Qualifications

  

  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in game production  

  • Leadership contributions as a Senior Producer on multiple titles and or Executive Producer on the release of at least one AAA title 

  • In-depth knowledge of project planning and tasking with the ability to monitor the progress of department milestones and individual tasks against those schedules  

  • Excellent organizational & prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and the ability to multi-task 

  • Highly developed leadership skills leading teams through challenging projects 

  • Experience working with JIRA, MS Project, MS Office (Excel), Smart Sheet, Miro, Trello, and bug tracking databases   

  • Deep understanding of traditional production management techniques 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across Product Development and Management teams, as well as with executive management 

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills  

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment  

  • Knowledgeable of current industry trends; stays up to date on competitive products and best practices  

  • Must love games and have a true passion for creating them!
