Director, Finance Transformation - Center of Innovation

The Director, Finance Transformation – Center of Innovation is a senior leader within the Finance Transformation Office, responsible for shaping and delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role will advance Finance’s digital, data, and analytics capabilities while modernizing tools, operating models, and ways of working.

This leader partners closely with Finance, IT, and Business executives to translate strategy into measurable outcomes that enhance efficiency, governance, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Transformation Leadership

  • Lead global Finance transformation programs from strategy through execution.
  • Translate long-term vision into clear roadmaps, milestones, and measurable value.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities and drive sustainable change.

Data, Analytics & Digital Enablement

  • Establish and operationalize a centralized Finance data and analytics strategy.
  • Strengthen governance, data integrity, and reporting standards across regions and business units.
  • Advance adoption of modern analytics, AI-enabled insights, and self-service digital tools.
  • Evaluate and scale technology solutions that support a high-performing Finance function.

Technology & Operating Model Evolution

  • Partner with IT and Finance leaders to modernize the Finance technology landscape.
  • Define future-state capabilities that increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and support global scalability.

Value Realization & Capability Building

  • Ensure initiatives are supported by clear business cases and defined success metrics.
  • Track and communicate impact, including operational improvements and strategic enablement.
  • Build internal capabilities, foster collaboration, and develop a culture of continuous improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team within the Center of Innovation.
  • Align resources, priorities, and talent to deliver transformation outcomes.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance transformation and/or Data & Analytics.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-year, global transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data governance, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders in matrixed environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
  • Effective communicator with experience engaging senior leaders.
  • Ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across global teams.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong digital fluency and comfort with emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
  • Travel up to 15% travel, based on business needs.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$204,000 - $307,000 USD
