Senior Commercial Manager

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)

 

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading and growing key strategic accounts within Sony PlayStation's commercial business in Brazil.

This role will drive business growth by developing commercial strategies, building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring best-in-class execution across multiple channels and customers. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering sales objectives, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships with strategic partners.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial leadership, analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for assigned accounts and channels, ensuring alignment with PlayStation's commercial objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, annual business planning, promotional strategies, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand revenue, market share, and channel performance.
  • Drive successful execution of product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal business initiatives.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to generate actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Regional stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
  • Manage commercial investments and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong return on investment.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners, providing strategic recommendations and action plans to maximize performance.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial Leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and delivering sustainable business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, promotional planning, business analysis, and profitability management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business opportunities and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Consumer Electronics, Technology, Gaming, Telecommunications, Retail, or related industries.
  • Experience managing large and complex customer organizations.
  • Exposure to Telecommunications (Telco) channels, omnichannel retail environments, or digital commerce platforms.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and strategic business initiatives.
