
International Marketing Assistant
The International Marketing Assistant plays a key role in amplifying Sony Music’s international roster in the local market through effective promotional activations, innovative content strategies, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. The role is responsible for developing and executing promotional activities, data‑driven social media initiatives supporting promotional campaigns across media channels and ensuring high-impact digital presence aimed at driving audience growth, engagement, and commercial performance for the international roster.
What you'll do:
- Support the International Marketing team in the planning and execution of all local promotional activities across radio, TV, press, events, and other media channels.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and external partners to secure maximum visibility and coverage for international artists.
- Develop a comprehensive social media strategy (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube Shorts, etc.) for SME international artists and brands and upload the approved content.
- Propose and manage collaborations with influencers, creators, and media partners to extend reach and support campaign KPIs for the relevant roster.
- Drive measurable growth in followers, engagement, content reach, and fan conversions, ultimately contributing to commercial success (streams, sound uses, UGC growth, etc.) for international artists.
- Generate platform-native promotional ideas — such as contests, challenges, hashtag activations, and collaborative content — to support artists' campaigns and drive viral potential.
- Stakeholder & International Artist Team Collaboration
- Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure continuous optimization.
- Work closely with the Commercial/Streaming Department to ensure marketing initiatives support streaming growth targets.
- Support budget monitoring to ensure cost‑effective execution and maximum ROI.
- Deliver weekly performance reports on all managed accounts, including competitive insights and benchmarks.
Who you are:
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or music/entertainment marketing.
- Strong understanding of all major social media platforms, their audiences, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proven experience creating impactful, trend‑aligned content with measurable results.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Familiarity with music industry workflows, especially within international marketing, is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with influencers, creators, or digital partners is preferred.
