Three Ten is a merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California. We work with some of the world’s largest Artists & Brands with projects that include music, sports, entertainment IP, experiential, retail stores and pop-up shops. We are looking for a motivated Associate Technical Product Developer to support development across multiple product categories including Apparel, Accessories, and Home goods within the entertainment, music, and pop culture world. You will assist in bridging creative vision and production reality, helping to ensure products are built to spec, costed appropriately, sourced strategically, and delivered on time. What you'll do:
- Support end-to-end technical development for product lines, assisting with sourcing, techpacks, sample approvals, and final production.
- Collaborate with design, production, and client services teams to help translate concepts into buildable retail- and tour-ready products.
- Research category-specific innovations, material technologies, and emerging trends to inform the Creative team.
- Assist with sourcing efforts by helping to identify and evaluate new vendors and factory partners, including researching innovative materials, techniques, and product capabilities.
- Help develop and maintain detailed techpacks including technical specifications, production art, and quality standards across apparel, accessories, and homegoods categories.
- Support product costing efforts by coordinating with vendors and production teams and assisting in cost analysis.
- Assist in the sample review process by tracking sample comments, consolidating feedback from stakeholders, and communicating updates to vendors.
- Help manage development and production calendars across product drops, flagging potential timeline risks to senior team members.
- Support vendor communication across domestic and overseas factories, helping to facilitate sample approvals and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure product safety and quality standards are maintained.
Who you are:
- 2–4 years of technical product development experience in apparel and/or accessories; experience in licensed or pop culture product a plus.
- Foundational proficiency in building techpacks including BOMs, technical specifications, and production artwork.
- Basic understanding of product costing and margin concepts; experience supporting cost negotiations a plus.
- Some experience with vendor or factory communication across domestic or global sourcing markets.
- Ability to manage and track development calendars across multiple product lines with guidance from senior developers.
- Exposure to a range of product types and technical design requirements.
- Familiarity with licensor approval processes and navigating brand guidelines preferred.
- Awareness of global compliance standards including product testing, social audits, and QC practices.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
- Works well both independently and collaboratively, with strong follow-through and self-initiative.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Proficient in Office and Google Suites.
