Marketing Manager, Domestic Repertoire

To effectively and creatively manage all aspects of marketing campaigns for assigned Sony Music artists, in line with commercial objectives and budgets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with artists, key Sony Music departments and external agencies/suppliers, and ensuring creative excellence in campaign execution

What you'll do:

Creative & Strategic

  • Define artist positioning and develop audience-led marketing strategies that align with the artist's vision, cultural relevance and commercial objectives.
  • Develop innovative campaign concepts that strengthen artist identity, deepen fan engagement and differentiate releases in the market.
  • Lead the creative development of local marketing assets—including artist imagery, artwork, advertising creative and video content—to ensure a consistent and compelling brand across all touchpoints.

Campaign Management

  • Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns across assigned releases, owning strategy, planning, execution, optimization and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans across digital, social, content, media, partnerships and promotional channels to grow audiences, maximize engagement and deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Identify and execute new promotional, content and partnership opportunities that expand artist reach and fan acquisition.
  • Partner closely with artists and cross-functional stakeholders to align campaign priorities and ensure timely delivery of all marketing initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets.

Performance & Project Leadership

  • Lead the team with clear direction, planning and accountability; set campaign standards (brief quality, approvals, asset readiness, measurement approach) and keep the team aligned through structured check-ins and progress tracking.
  • Leverage consumer insights, audience behaviour, streaming trends and campaign performance data to optimize marketing activity and inform future strategies.
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews, capturing key learnings and recommendations to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Manage campaign budgets, ensuring marketing investment is allocated effectively and campaigns are delivered within approved financial parameters.
  • Evaluate campaign performance against strategic and commercial objectives, identifying opportunities to improve return on investment and drive sustainable artist growth.

  • Experience of working within / taking responsibility for budgets
  • Previous proven experience of working across multiple teams and with numerous stakeholders (internal and external)
