We are looking for a Director, Public Sector Partnerships to join our team and help maximize a massive market opportunity. There is so much potential to provide mental health services to members of the nation’s state and local governments and we’re looking for someone passionate to help us capture it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote Spring Health’'s mental health services to state and local government entities.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and opportunities within the public sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, agency leaders, and decision-makers.
- Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to network and promote Spring Health’s services.
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.

What we expect from you:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on the public sector
- Preferred benefits/healthcare sales experience, but not required
- Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to state and local governments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events (50%)
- A deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health
- Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales
- Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
- Humility, resourcefulness, directness, ambition, extreme comfortability with change
- Emotional intelligence and an empathetic nature
The target base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
