We are looking for an experienced, highly effective Director of Strategic Initiatives to lead an innovation pipeline within SpringWorks.. Reporting to the SpringWorks Senior Director, this role will act as the key leader for SpringWorks around new initiatives, and deep cross-functional program management to bring concepts from idea to reality to scale. The Director will be responsible for the ongoing program management of complex initiatives across cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record working in strategy, operations or program management role in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Bringing new and differentiated services to market
    • Scope market opportunity for new and revamped service areas; define long term vision in key strategic areas to drive sustained growth of the line of business; efficiencies; and long term competitive advantage
    • Build and execute on cross-functional delivery plans to bring vision to life; build complex new services, launch and scale
  • Leadership:
    • Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to build the most innovative and customer-centric Springworks offering.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Programme Management
    • Balance strategic visioning with detail-oriented planning and execution 
    • Oversee the end-to-end SpringWorks ongoing programme management of complex initiatives, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of launches and ongoing cross-functional initiatives with outcomes that delight the customer
    • Guide the team on development and maintenance on high quality project plans, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables
    • Monitor project progress and deploy strong risk management strategies, including early identification and implementation of effective mitigation strategies 
  • Customer Engagement
    • Derive customer insights to shape the SpringWorks offering, from informing our strategy to shaping execution as well as deliverables
    • Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders where needed to seamlessly manage program delivery, and strengthen the SpringWorks brand as a whole  
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of new initiatives and offerings  
    • Support program strategy through a data-driven approach, identifying areas for improvement and driving actionable insight
    • Support in the embedding of a data-driven culture across SpringWorks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Lead the set up and management of cross-functional processes and ways of working with other departments, including other SpringWorks teams; Sales and Customer Success; Product and Engineering amongst others, to ensure seamless integration of processes and delivery of services
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
    • Build trusted relationships to drive SpringWorks strategy and delivery
  • P&L support
    • Support P&L management by tracking and reporting P&L metrics, and driving deep insights into key levers around revenue, costs and gross margin
    • Shape SpringWorks program delivery to control and influence key P&L metrics
  • This role reports to the Senior Director, SpringWorks
  • Willing to travel as needed (20-30%)

What success looks like in this role:

  • On time, on budget completion of customer launches for SpringWorks with robust risk management
  • Contributions to gross margin targets through leadership on complex cross-functional programs that drive efficiencies within the SpringWork portfolio
  • High customer satisfaction scores on key accounts
  • High thriving index for your team

What we expect from you:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy or operations with a focus on building and scaling new service areas
  • 10 years of experience in leadership or management roles, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills combined with relentless attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced 
  • You are a self starter who thrives when given autonomy, with proven ability and desire to build effective internal and external relationships
  • You value levity, humility, collaboration and deriving fulfillment from success achieved through the work you accomplish with others
  • You obsess about achieving your goals and are relentless in pursuing them

The target base salary range for this position is $164,900 - $214,450, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
