Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and partnering with Strategic Alliances, Channel Partner Managers, Legal, Compliance, Implementation, Product & Engineering the Director of Strategic Partnerships will own the sourcing, negotiation, and procuring of net new strategic partnerships. This role’s responsibilities include overseeing successful implementations and transition to partnership management. This role is ideal for a senior, entrepreneurial individual contributor who thrives on autonomy and accountability. You’ll be expected to own your business, running the full partnership cycle independently, while seeking guidance, direction, and prioritization support to stay aligned with overall company strategy. You will have a strong background in sales or business development. This is a full-time, remote opportunity on our team and may occasionally require travel for customer meetings or in-person team events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify, engage, and secure potential channel distribution partners in the healthcare sector
- Build and nurture trusted relationships within Spring Health’s partner ecosystem
- Develop and maintain a pipeline aligned with Spring Health’s distribution and product strategy, goals, and objectives
- Lead the full partnership lifecycle—from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation and signed agreement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Implementation) to ensure seamless execution of partnerships.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Represent Spring Health at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to promote our mission and expand brand visibility.

- Operate independently with strong strategic judgment, while maintaining alignment with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Drive meaningful partnerships that accelerate growth and expand Spring Health’s impact.
What we expect from you: (Qualification ex. education, experience, etc.)
- 10+ years of successful experience in Sales or Business Development
- Background in healthcare, health plans, digital health, consulting, or benefits ecosystem partnerships strongly preferred
- Experience cultivating and managing benefits ecosystem partnerships, including brokers, consultants, and distribution partners within the employee benefits landscape
- Proven ability to operate as a senior IC—driving results with minimal oversight, but collaborating effectively for alignment and prioritization
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for transforming the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health
- Humility, resourcefulness, directness, and high tolerance for ambiguity and change
- A deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health
The target base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $165,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
