Job Title: Client Services Associate
Reports To: The Client Services Associate will report to the Client Services Manager or equivalent leadership.
The Client Services Associate provides exceptional customer service, delivering operational functions in the following areas: processing of inbound/outbound mail, distributing/delivering of mail, shipping and receiving product and supplies to support onsite business service center, replenishing/organizing/ordering office supplies (pens, paper, toner), insuring copy/print machines are functional and stocked, and serving as a backup to the front of office (reception/concierge). The CSA position is also involved with onsite data entry and must be experienced with Excel and shipping label creation.
Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
What you will be doing:
- Giving amazing customer service to our onsite operation by scanning/delivering/tracking/reporting in and outgoing business packages and mail (via UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc).
- Assisting the onsite personnel in retrieving their packages and providing records management in person, by email, by phone, or similar methods.
- Oversee the onsite business center, which may include: office supply stocking, assisting with copy/print orders, conference room setup up, pantry inventory, light facilities, or serving as a backup to receptionist.
What we need from you:
- 1+ year experience in shipping & receiving, mailroom, retail, or office services.
- A positive and professional attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
- Ability to handle physical duties (carrying and/or moving 40lbs) associated with the job - lifting, bending, etc.
- To be able to work both independently and in a team setting successfully.
- The capability to use/learn technology such as: handheld scanners, email, professional messaging (Teams, Slack, Google).
- An ability to be bright, articulate, and neat in appearance.
Physical Demands:
- Approximately 50% of the time this position requires the below physical demands.
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
- Manual dexterity is required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).
- Ability to communicate and decern information effectively with onsite staff using vision, hearing, and oral/written comprehension.
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
