Position Overview:

Stronghold is on the hunt for a seasoned Sr. Technical Product Manager to spearhead our product strategy and drive the development of our applications within the Technology team, directly reporting to the Chief Product Officer. As an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, you will harness your domain expertise, prioritize the feature roadmap, and lead feature implementation. This role demands a hands-on approach to decision-making regarding feature development, close collaboration with designers, and a commitment to product excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the economic evaluation capabilities of our real asset platform, focusing on oil and gas, renewables, and other land assets with recurring revenue streams.
  • Innovate and scale the economic evaluation of real property and infrastructure assets, including managing supporting data inputs.
  • Lead product delivery teams with a hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence.
  • Translate customer needs into detailed requirements and ensure their understanding and implementation by internal teams, including designers, developers, and engineers.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders for feature validation, ensuring product alignment with customer needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal product users.
  • Partner with engineering management to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Oversee early-stage product testing, integrating feedback into product refinement.
  • Develop and maintain essential product documentation.
  • Measure and report product KPI metrics to senior management.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or a technical field and 8+ years of L48 economic evaluation experience are required. 
  • Product management experience, certification, or training background with the ability to write detailed product requirements is a plus. 
  • Technical proficiency, including understanding programmatic APIs, API design, ERDs, and data management. Prior technical experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with Landmark ARIES, PHDwin, ComboCurve, or similar economic evaluation applications is a plus. 
  • Experience working in an Agile development methodology.
  • Experience working with development teams in India is a plus. 
  • Expertise in project management is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong, positive influence on team culture, promoting continuous improvement and learning.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll define and execute the product roadmap and ensure our engineering teams have clear, actionable tasks. Your technical acumen, particularly in SQL and data management, will be crucial in making informed decisions about feature development. Working alongside a designer, you will be instrumental in crafting a product that resonates with our users, embodying Stronghold’s commitment to innovation and quality in the realm of real asset management software solutions.
