Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with 5-10 years of experience, including at least two (2) years directly related to product management roles within the Title insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Title Insurance concepts and tools, and fluent in core product management skills, Agile methodologies, and UX principles. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a strategic mindset to drive the product roadmap and ensure successful product evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Development:
- Manage our real asset platform's land management and title validation workflow capabilities, focusing on oil and gas, renewables, and other land assets with recurring revenue streams.
- Innovate and scale the tracking, analysis, and interpretation of terms and conditions of leases, contracts, conveyances, and other documents relating to land assets.
- Work with internal stakeholders, such as the title, evaluation, and investment teams, to drive the ongoing advancement and planning of the product roadmap.
Product Development Execution:
- Provide direction to the product development team for product evolution and priorities.
- Ensure alignment with the overall product strategy and goals.
- Partner with engineering management to identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Approve project scope and change requests.
Requirements Definition:
- Define high-level requirements for the user experience, including product features and functions.
- Translate internal user needs into detailed requirements and collaborate with designers and stakeholders for feature validation, ensuring product alignment with customer needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved and maintained.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among various departments to drive product success.
- Conduct training sessions for internal product users.
- Develop and maintain essential product documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5- 10 years of experience in product management, with at least two (2) years of U.S. Land Title experience.
- Technical proficiency, including understanding programmatic APIs, ERDs, and data management. Prior technical experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools handling Title Insurance Search.
- Well-versed with U.S. Title Insurance concepts.
- Fluent in core Product Management skills, including decision frameworks, prioritization, business outcomes, and road mapping.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and UX principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams.
