About the Job:
We are looking for a member of the Franchising and Finance team, which supports restaurant unit growth and strategic decision-making around the US franchisee system. You will be part of a team that supports key pillars of the franchise system – franchise store transfers, franchisee capex requirements, franchisee financial performance, and franchisee financial stability. We are looking for a strategic thinker and problem solver with strong attention to detail and financial acumen. A high level of comfort in financial modeling and reading audited/internal financial statements is expected. Finally, you will serve as an analytical partner on high-profile ad hoc projects as the organization seeks to maximize asset utilization and performance. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization.
This position is ideal for individuals with high accountability, strong analytical skills, great communication style, a partnership mentality, and in comfort turning facts into recommendations. The individual must be able to influence cross-functional business partners and effectively provide the Franchising and Finance point-of-view on complex business issues to senior management, team members, and franchisees/ licensees.
The Day-to-Day:
- Perform financial modeling and provide insights into strategic finance developments across the franchise system; Monitor franchisees’ financial performance by compiling and reviewing store-level P&Ls and quarterly/annual financial statements.
- Help prepare Deal Committee deck/materials; Prepare annual franchisee system financial review and summary.
- Review key financial ratios (Rent Adjusted Leverage, Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio) to determine risks to the franchise system and offer strategic insights.
- Monitor industry trends through constant interaction with bankers/brokers.
- Work with management and internal partners to identify and promptly report KPIs
- Full understanding of Relationship Agreements and support negotiations of Relationship Agreements.
Is This You?
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Financial Reporting & Analysis, Business Operations, Corporate Finance, Consulting); Experience working with data and simplifying data retrieval
- Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail
- Strong financial modeling skills and a high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a high level of comfort in collaborating with various internal partners as well as franchisees
- Comfort with solving open-ended problems

Salary Range: $84,500 to $109,600 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
