
Scrum Master
At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our agile delivery team. This role will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agile principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to coach teams toward high performance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Serve as a servant leader and coach to one or more agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team reflection and experimentation.
- Track and communicate key agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders.
- Support the team in achieving delivery commitments and maintaining a sustainable pace.
- Foster strong collaboration between business and technical teams, including Salesforce and FileMaker stakeholders when applicable.
- Partner with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and align on agile maturity goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification required.
- 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or digital product environment.
- Experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or FileMaker platforms is a plus.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and across multiple time zones.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting agile transformation or scaling agile practices across teams.
- Background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments.
Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
US Pay Range
$93,600 - $131,040 USD
