Are you a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of success in Salesforce administration? Our team is looking for someone like you! As our ideal candidate, you will have in-depth hands-on experience customizing the Salesforce platform using declarative functionality and code when necessary to extend its capabilities. You should also have a deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ, its out-of-the-box capabilities, and how to properly extend it to meet business needs.
As a senior professional in your career, you should feel comfortable and confident in contributing to discovery sessions, acting as a technical advisor to our business partners and architects, and assisting our team in gathering and documenting technical requirements. In addition, you should have exposure to modern DevOps tooling and be able to assist the team in understanding the value of DevOps processes and how to implement and use these tools for development, deployment, and testing activities. You should also be comfortable analyzing the existing codebase and providing suggestions to optimize and reduce technical debt.
Responsibilities:
- Influence a growing team while acting as a technical guide, being able to speak conceptually, document architecturally and be comfortable doing hands on coding as well
- Design scalable solutions using a mixture of configuration and code to support business functions and product goals, knowing how to work in and around the limits of the platform
- Create and maintain Salesforce-centric architecture diagrams, including system landscape, ERD, integration sequence flows, login flows, etc. of current state and future
- Communicate with product managers, cross functional development teams, network infrastructure, information security, data privacy & compliance and salesforce solution architects to ensure a cohesive technical strategy is designed and executed upon
- Support and maintain current Salesforce instance(s), including the data model, coding best practices, user permissions, integrations with third party and internal applications, security settings
- Hands on development experience using salesforce technologies such as Apex Classes, Triggers,Flows , LWC ,API , Analytics and AI technologies.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems, utilizing Salesforce APIs, middleware tools, and custom development. Identify integration patterns, recommend integration technologies, and ensure data integrity and security
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, data models, and architectural diagrams. Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable by technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance, recommendations, and explanations as needed
- Stay current with emerging Salesforce and industry trends, best practices, and technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and automation to enhance the overall efficiency, performance, and user experience of Salesforce solutions
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration , Engineering or Information Systems), or equivalent experience
- Salesforce Certified System Architect or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certifications preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, LWC, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools, CI/CD and DevOps Tools
- 4+ years’ experience in building custom UI solutions using Salesforce Lightning design system (SLDS), Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, and web technologies (HTML 5, CSS3, XML, jQuery, JavaScript)
- Experience with Salesforce Platform events, Streaming API, Change data capture, Customer Data Platform and AgentForce
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
