ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Sales Data Analyst at TaxRise, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy through data. This role is designed for a detail-oriented and analytical thinker who’s passionate about uncovering insights, identifying trends, and helping teams make smarter, faster decisions. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Training to monitor performance metrics, flag process inefficiencies, and build dashboards that provide visibility into our sales pipeline and rep productivity.

HOW YOU’LL BE REWARDED

- Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year
- Bonus Opportunity: Up to $1,000 per month based on performance and impact
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Sales Data Monitoring & Reporting
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics across the sales floor, including pay rate, talk time, conversion rate (CVR), lead flow, and rep activity.
- Identify performance patterns and emerging issues, and share actionable insights with Sales Leadership and RevOps.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards in Salesforce and Power BI to help teams visualize trends and track goals.
Process & Pipeline Analytics
- Review sales funnel performance, identifying bottlenecks in the client enrollment process.
- Monitor lead assignment and flow to ensure optimal routing and follow-up.
- Track sales rep engagement metrics and identify drop-off points in the sales cycle.
Dashboard & Tool Development
- Build user-friendly dashboards and automated reports in Salesforce and Power BI to support sales managers, trainers, and executives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs.
- Maintain documentation on data sources, metric definitions, and report usage best practices.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Salesforce and DocuSign bugs that impact sales workflow or data reporting.
Performance Insights & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Provide weekly and ad hoc reports to sales and operations leadership to support decision-making.
- Partner with Training and Enablement to identify performance trends among new hires and assist in refining onboarding benchmarks.
- Support strategic projects by analyzing data tied to sales incentives, training impact, and campaign performance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
- 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue analytics, or business intelligence
- Strong understanding of key sales KPIs, funnel metrics, and call center performance data
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and list views
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Ability to distill complex data into clear, concise insights for a non-technical audience
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience in a sales-heavy environment is a major plus
SQL experience is a bonus, but not required
