Job Description

As a Senior Motion Designer, you will take ownership of projects, leading the creative process from visualization to execution and handoff. You'll be responsible for producing engaging motion graphics that communicate our platform's value to dealerships and OEMs. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to managing projects, ensuring a seamless flow from concept development to final delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to craft compelling visuals that support our brand’s message.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of motion design projects, managing them from initial concept and visualization through to execution and final handoff.
  • Develop motion design concepts that effectively communicate the features and benefits of our dealership management system.
  • Create storyboards, style frames, and motion tests to visualize design ideas and bring them to life.
  • Animate graphics, typography, and visual elements in ways that appeal to automotive industry audiences, including dealerships and OEMs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure that visual content aligns with overall messaging and campaign goals.
  • Lead motion design projects, managing timelines, providing creative direction, and addressing any challenges to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design, software, to push the creative boundaries and keep content relevant.
  • Mentor junior designers, offering guidance and feedback to elevate the team’s overall capabilities.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in motion design
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects, from concept to completion, and deliver quality work within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant software like Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and typography.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse motion design work, including 2D/3D animation, kinetic typography, and multimedia projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of visual effects and compositing.
  • Familiarity with real-time engines like Unreal or Unity.
