Your Role:
Tenable is looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our Business Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, collaborating to align technology with business process improvements, optimize operations, support and maintain our system and enhance both internal and external user experiences.
While your primary focus will be managing a comprehensive suite of Salesforce applications—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Certinia, and Mulesoft, you will also work closely with teammates to support Salesforce integration with other platforms such as NetSuite, Workday, and Clari.
Your Opportunity:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts and product owners to understand and analyze business challenges and requirements
Optimize Salesforce system configurations through customization, flow automation and integration to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Maintain security settings including user accounts, sharing rules, and field-level security.
Administer user management including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain data integrity and ensure seamless integration across systems, ensuring Salesforce is used to its full potential for analytics and decision-making.
Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, policies, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Explore and learn new Salesforce features such as Data Cloud, AgentForce and Revenue Cloud.
What You'll Need:
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in an enterprise environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
Familiarity with IT systems, database design, and data structures, with hands-on experience in data manipulation and CRM practices/standards.
Solid experience in troubleshooting and developing multiple solutions for complex issues.
Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude, capable of taking ownership of challenges and driving initiatives to completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stay agile and adaptive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on Salesforce innovations and best practices.
A customer-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional user support and enhancing the Salesforce experience for all stakeholders.
Able to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our headquarters in Columbia MD
Ideally:
B2B industry experience.
Familiarity with Mulesoft and NetSuite.
Salesforce Administrator Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
