DevOps Software Intern - PEY

As a Tenstorrent Software Dev Intern, you will be part of the DevInfra team, the goal is to provide an easy platform for Tenstorrent developers/engineers to have an environment that is easy to develop the software stack on Tenstorrent ASIC hardware. You will help build our automation platform and root cause analysis of services and infrastructure failures.
This role is on-site, based out of Toronto.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in platform design, implement, and maintain automation tools and frameworks to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable and efficient deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and delivery workflows.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Isolate and root cause on-prem hardware failures tied to our platform during the software/hardware development process.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic Knowledge of CI/CD principles.
- Basic Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, or Go, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
