TheFork Italy is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant Intern to join our team in Milan.
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager in Italy, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating various accounting functions.
What you will do:
Accounts Payable :
- Process supplier invoices in Workday (accounting system)
- Review purchase orders and match them with invoices.
- Manage vendor payments and the creation of new supplier accounts.
- Assist in bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Review employee travel expense reports
General Accounting:
- Assist with General accounting entries such as prepayments or accruals
- Assist with monthly reconciliations
- Assist with the generation of revenue entries from Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Other ad-hoc tasks as needed
Who you are:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual eager to develop their skills in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications:
- Near Graduate/ Graduate in Accounting or Finance
- Good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel
You Can Impress With These Additions:
- Other languages such as French or Spanish are a plus
