What You'll Accomplish
The Senior Manager, Benefits Administration will oversee and administer the Museum of Science’s Benefits programs. Additionally, this role will be responsible for leave of absence management and managing the accommodation process in accordance with the ADA.
- Streamline and improve Benefit, LOA and ADA processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide reporting and analytics as needed to evaluate the effectiveness of our benefit, leave and accommodation programs.
- Regularly consult with employees to support employee education and awareness of our benefits, leave and accommodation programs
- Own open enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Monitor, audit and report/correct benefit file feeds, employee benefit eligibility status, etc.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits strategies that align with the museum's goals and ensure competitiveness within the industry.
- Conduct regular market analyses to benchmark benefits programs.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, workers comp, disability programs unemployment insurance programs, leave policies and other employee perks.
- Manage and ensure required filings, tax documents, etc. are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that benefit file feeds are functioning properly each payroll, conducting audits and correcting errors as needed.
- Manage the retirement account audit and reconciliation process
- Partner with finance to conduct and successfully close out audits as needed on all other benefit programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations, including FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.
- Responsible for accommodation management for the Museum
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the HR team.
- Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the museum in collaboration with the HR leadership team.

Salary Range
$102,106 - $127,633 USD
