
Senior Technical Program Manager

This role can be based in Copenhagen, London, or Madrid.
Your mission
As our Senior Technical Program Manager, you will implement and own core IT solutions leveraged by our commercial teams across 20 countries. You will lead requirements setting, vendor selection, and systems implementation, working closely with tech teams and internal end-users. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing technical projects and initiatives on a global scale, and develop our processes and governance around these. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, implementation, and delivery of projects that elevate the efficiency of our commercial teams.
By combining your strong technical and project management skills, you will help our sales teams globally work more effectively, spend time on what matters, ultimately leading to more food saved.
Role description
Technical strategy and project planning
- Collaborating with the leadership team to define objectives, projects, and success criteria in alignment with the overall commercial strategy
- Developing detailed project plans, timelines, dependency mapping, and business cases, considering global implications and regional needs
- Gathering internal requirements from commercial and tech organizations
- Setting up pilots and tests to validate vendors and measure benefits
Owning relationships with external vendors
- Developing RFPs, negotiating terms, and developing joint implementation plans
- Establishing necessary maintenance and support structures to uphold the quality of service
- Being the first point of contact for select vendors
Implementing new systems or replacing existing ones (e.g., our VoIP platform, customer outreach tools, sales training tools)
- Leading the technical and user-facing implementation of new systems for commercial teams
- Leading project teams, providing clear direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Identifying and allocating suitable resources to efficiently achieve project objectives on time & budget, while monitoring resource utilization for optimal productivity
- Monitoring and tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure adherence to project schedules
- Implementing robust quality assurance processes to maintain high quality of service and end-user satisfaction in projects
Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Working closely with various departments, including Tech, Legal, IT and other teams to coordinate efforts and align on project goals
- Working with our Tech organization to develop the necessary integrations and automations, to embed new systems with existing processes
- Working with the Enablement team to develop change management plans and training materials
- Communicating project plans and progress to senior management
Maintaining and evolving our commercial tech stack
- Establishing processes for managing change requests, user support, and system administration
- Staying informed about future vendor roadmaps and features to assess their relevance and benefit for Too Good To Go
Requirements
- Proven experience in deciding on, implementing, and managing commercial technology solutions (preferably with VoIP platforms, e.g., Genesys, Five9, Aircall, 8x8 or similar)
- Experience managing external software providers, including RFP development, contract negotiation, and day to day vendor management
- Proven experience in leading large strategic projects across different teams and stakeholders, and highly technical and complex projects that require implementing new tools/platforms and integration with existing tools/platforms
- The ability to communicate with and understand technical language and translate this into simple concepts for stakeholders
- Experience interacting with all levels of an organization, from senior leaders to frontline staff
- Solution and results oriented, with attention to detail, and high level of accountability towards delivering on plans
- Proven ability to get results through influence, without direct leadership
- Proactive seeker of solutions, excited by opportunities to make change happen, and with a personal drive to have impact
- Not scared by ambiguity or uncertainty, and open to new ideas and suggestions
- Fully proficient in English and with excellent communication skills
- Based in Copenhagen, London, or Madrid
